Job Description


A fabulous new & exciting new opportunity has arisen for my clients for an experienced Licensed sales person who will be responsible for growing this existing division, meeting and managing licensors to increase growth on existing accounts across fashion, footwear, beauty and stationery. To be considered for this role you will need to have extensive license experience dealing with large volume retailers at a senior level, be able to drive and motivate a team

Main duties and responsibilities will include

  • To have awareness of the new upcoming films, events, games, and characteristics in the licensing world
  • Knowledge of license owning agents or Licensors
  • Must be aware of current trends within high street brands and how to take these products forward
  • Following up the relevant fairs will be beneficial for new licensors and new target customers
  • Creating and expanding current business with existing and new license agents
  • Being aware of each licensor's requirements, such as their needs, attitude, moods willingness, creativeness, and communication
  • Meeting and managing licensors to increase growth in these business accounts
  • Monitoring how many samples companies have produced and evaluate companies returns that are from that license agents
  • Attend monthly board meetings to update on current activities
  • Frequently visit at least once a month each licensor for new opportunities, business, license, and customers
  • Ensuring that maximum sales are achieved from each licensor
  • To motivate and drive your team, conduct regular reviews
  • Analysing licensors designs and sourcing progress, lead time, and weekly costing

  • Able to bring new opportunities and ideas to develop growth in the company
  • Strong leadership and man-management skills
  • Someone Commercial Business-minded & Visionary,
  • Good team working & communication skills
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of the Licencing arena
  • Task-oriented and good at strategic management
