Job Description


A rare opportunity has become available for a an individula to lead the Quality Assurance for my client , a high fashion led manufacturing company supplying to several large e- tailers & retailer. They are now looking to appoint a dynamic experienced Head of Quality Assurance to oversee all aspects of product quality and product compliance strategy and execution. This role is ideal for someone with a strong ladieswear technical background,experience working with/ for online reilers who is seeking a fantastic new chalenge to be part of an amzing business .


Main responsibilities and Duties will include.

  • Devise and deliver a strategy that ensures the best quality products are delivered at speed to exceed customers' expectations.

  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure highest possible first seal fit rates.

  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure garment production and sealing process are aligned to customers' expectations.

  • Collaborate with sourcing and design teams to ensure manufacturers are equipped to deliver quality standards and specifications.

  • Ensure regular production quality inspections checks process are in place.

  • Regular visits and liaison with both UK and overseas factories when required

  • Work with customers and manufacturers to address quality issues, negotiate corrective actions and drive continuous improvements.

  • Manage product testing and certification process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies and best practices & seek to implement ways to improve existing ways of working.


Person Specifications

  • Extensive knowledge and expertise of fabrics, garment constructions and manufacturing techniques.

  • Strong ladies-wear multiproduct experience

  • Knowledge or working with both UK and overseas factories

  • Supplier and or retail background - must have some experience working with online retailer's

  • Detail oriented with a commercial and pragmatic approach and a pro-active problem-solving approach.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to maximise operational performance through the supply chain.

  • Familiarity with quality management systems,product testing standards and protocols and regulatory requirements.

  • Available to travel overseas when required
