Job description

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Production Coordinator/ merchandiser to join their friendly and dynamic team, based full time in the office Monday - Friday.
You'll be part of a busy and creative environment, working across multi-product womenswear for some of the UK's best-known high street retailers and supermarkets. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys collaborating with talented designers, buyers, and factories and takes pride in making sure every collection runs smoothly from concept to delivery.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing the critical path from order confirmation to delivery, keeping everything running on time and to the highest standards.
  • Working closely with designers, garment technologists, and buyers to move samples, fits, and approvals through the process efficiently.
  • Building strong, positive relationships with factories and suppliers, ensuring great communication and smooth production.
  • Checking lab dips, labels, and bulk fabrics to make sure every detail is just right.
  • Spotting and solving any production challenges before they become problems.
  • Attending regular production meetings and contributing ideas to help improve processes and results.

Person Responsibilities:

  • Experience in production coordination or merchandising, ideally within a fashion supplier environment.
  • Must be able to work in a busy environment across different accounts.
  • A good understanding of critical path management and how to juggle multiple accounts or product types.
  • Great communication skills , you must be confident, professional, and friendly with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organisation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Someone who enjoys being hands-on, in the office, and part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficient with Excel and general order management systems.
