Job Description

Currently seeking a Production/Supply Chain Manager to join the world's no. 1 company in the production and sales of cards and games. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that are leader in their field, who are continuing to grow and who really value their employees. This is predominantly a remote role with Average of 2 visits to South East England Heads Office.

Main Responsibilities in include:

  • Receive purchase orders from clients, Create Order Confirmations
  • liaise with 3PL/other factories/logistics companies to make sure product is delivered to DCs at booked times/dates
  • Receive proofs from factories, arrange submission of proofs to client and deal with client/factories to arrange corrections where necessary through to final proof approval
  • Work closely with customers to help identify potential manufacturing opportunities for the business
  • Advising international and national customers and preparing quotations and calculations using inhouse systems
  • Deal direct with suppliers in securing stock and bespoke products
  • Handling re-works
  • Independently project handling in cooperation with in-house departments
  • Data maintenance and configuration in the CRM and merchandise management system, e.g. creation of articles, customers, orders
  • Clarification of production dates, delivery dates and releases
  • Arrange shipping, dealing with agents and shipping documents to ensure successful delivery
  • Order monitoring and invoicing

Person Specification:

  • 3-5 years order management or customer service experience minimum
  • Outside in / client focused mindset
  • Experience of stock control and placing replenishment orders.
  • Experience in freight handling and agencies
  • Knowledge of import and export paperwork
  • Print production / Project management background beneficial & Understanding of production technologies and processes
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Very good communication skills and pleasure in advising our customers
  • Effective and structured way of working
  • High degree of independence
  • Experienced handling of the MS Office package
