Job Description


A new role has arisen for a People Lead/HR Manager for a unique Health and Wellness brand. You will be an integral part of the team, working collaboratively to support the wider business. The right candidate will have People and HR qualifications as well as proven expertise at supporting a fast paced and growing team. This role will be to support the CEO and FD with strategic recruitment, training, growth, and culture. This an initial interim role for 2/3 days based in the office
Main responsibilities

  • Direct the change management and organizational design to enable the business to optimise its ability to deliver to customers.

  • Head up the reward philosophy is upheld, and compensation and benefits are reflective of that.

  • Overseeing all HR processes, ensuring records are kept up to date.

  • Accountable for having an up to date and compliant Team Handbook and other people related policies.

  • Dealing with day-to-day employee relations issues and all queries.

  • Responsible for all aspects of employee welfare including the office environment.

  • Responsible for general workings and day to day office management

  • Support the recruitment and selection process to ensure its efficiency and placement of the right people in the right roles.

  • Monitor probation periods, all leavers and ensure pay and benefits managed appropriately.

  • With the operations board develop and deliver clear internal communication plans

  • Co-ordinate any training needed, liaising with external parties.

  • Implement a robust set of HR metrics to enable the organization to monitor key people related themes.

  • Working with all managers to ensure consistency across appraisals and clear feedback is given.

  • Working with Managers and the CEO to ensure each employee has a full job description with individual targets and company expectations.

  • Working with the Wellbeing Committee and across each department to ensure consistent messaging.

  • Supporting the CEO with new projects including B Corp and ESG and Employee Welfare.
