Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen for our client, a successful retail group, as a P.A. to assist the Chairman's Private Office. This PA role will to be assist the Head of the Chairman's office to deliver a full service to the Chairman and other Key Directors ensuring a smooth and efficient service This role is based in Wimbledon in their prestigious head office.
This position would be perfect for an individual with a strong Secretarial/P.A. background in a fast-paced retail business, who can sustain strong working relationships and has high standards at all times. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Extensive diary management (using Google Docs)
  • Excellent inbox management and prioritisation
  • Proactively identifying any changes needed in the Chairman's diary, which changes daily
  • Ensure all bookings in the diary are accurate and up to date
  • Ensure that any visitors for the office are warmly welcomed and that security is notified ahead of their visit
  • Book diary, travel and meetings for the Chairman and his family which includes UK and International travel and accommodation
  • Manage and deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Support the planning and delivery of projects and initiatives
  • Compile board reports as and when required
  • Prepare presentations
  • Chase for information/gather data on a regular basis


Person requirements:

  • Background of strong Secretarial/P.A. in a very fast-moving business ideally within a Fashion retail enviroment
  • Proven advanced level secretarial skills; ideally touch typing of 55-80 wpm
  • Proven experience of diary and time management for individuals with multiple "roles" or more than one senior manager
  • Very high level of accuracy and excellent literacy/numeracy
  • Good knowledge of London would be advantageous
  • A polished self-confident individual who will be able to establish and sustain strong working relationships
  • Excellent written & oral communication
  • 'Can-do' attitude & ready to get involved at all times & a team player
  • Fast learner - adapting to new processes in rapid change climate
  • Flexible, happy to pick up and deliver a wide range of projects or tasks
