Job Description
A very exciting opportunity has become available for a Midweight Store Designer to join a Premium High Street fashion brand. You will be responsible for global design projects working closely with the store Design Team, VM, Facilities as well as Merch and other retail and store teams. You will be working in a fun, vibrant high performing team who are looking for a highly creative Store Designer
Main Responsibilities will include:
* Receive Briefs & produce a schedule for that project
* Support Senior Designers with larger retail projects
* Must be able to lead a partner project and have the support of a store designer
* Attending Site visits & meeting contractors
* Research, Source and purchasing required finishes, fittings and props for store design projects
* Liaise with external contractors on the design and production of store design elements
* Research new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing suppliers
* Fill out purchasing templates for relevant projects & manage budgets
* Fill out Shipping Documents
* Work with shipping on the organization and delivery of store design items worldwide. Including assisting with packing appropriately.
* Process incoming invoices using purchase order system
* Manage deliveries in and out of head office
* Be a mentor for the Junior members of the team by supporting with Concessions
Person Specification
* Experience in either the retail of hospitality industry
* Experience working with Vectorworks is a must
* experience with Sketch up, V-ray or Renderworks is desirable
* Photoshop or illustrator experience
* Qualifications in relevant subjects, such as Interior architecture, fine art, furniture design, spatial design, and 3D design
* Highly creative
* Able to prioritise efficiently and work to deadlines
* Good organisational and administrative skills
* Good communication skills and a team player
