Job description
Our client is an established and successful supplier of fashion-led, innovative licensed and non-licensed Loungewear, Underwear and Jersey wear to the High Street.
This role is for a junior designer and is ideal for a new graduate who has a year of previous experience in the industry or as a second jobber with fantastic opportunities to learn and grow within the business. The role includes designing Ladies graphics and shapes, both nightwear and loungewear.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop ladies' nightwear and loungewear based on research and awareness of current trends, shapes and fabrics
 - Developing seasonal trend boards and creating bespoke customer trend boards
 - Identifying new opportunities with new fabrications shapes, graphics, and prints
 - Working with fashion products across adult and childrenswear and be able to do graphics both licensed and non-licensed
 - Produce final fashion designs to size specifications and produce seasonal trend boards
 - Produce customer specific trend boards whilst continually looking to innovate with exciting new product design and development
 
Person specification:
- Be able to work closely and efficiently in a fast-paced fashion environment
 - Strong experience and passion for graphics knowledge of licencing preferred
 - Continuously researches new trends and contributes this new knowledge to the team
 - Be confident in presenting trends and design developments internally and professionally
 - Have good communication skills with a positive and accommodating attitude
 - Establish productive relationships with team members and customers
 - Be self-motivated, hardworking, and confident
 - The ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure to meet deadlines
 - Ability to use Photoshop and Illustrator is essential
