Job Description
My client is a leading supplier of Menswear to many of the leading high street retailers in Germany and are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to work predominantly on their menswear ranges across graphic, print and shape. You must come from a clothing graphic design background. This role is to be based in their head office in Dusseldorf. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a hugely successful business and be apart of their continuously growing team.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Creation of graphic designs for menswear taking into account the existing sales figures, trends and market conditions
- Creation of production documents in exact repeat size
- Bringing in and integrating your own ideas, techniques and tools
- Fixing the details of the collection in coordination with the product management
- Creation and maintenance of the article data in the company's own programs and files
- Deadline Responsibility
Person Specification:
- Completed degree in graphic design, print media designer, fashion textile design or an adequate training / degree
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Very good knowledge of common programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Office.
- Knowledge of the 3D CLO programs are advantageous
- Power of ideas combined with the ability to think outside the box
- Confident feeling for layout, typography, colours and basic knowledge of printing techniques
- A keen sense for the target customer, a high degree of creativity and attention to detail
- Assertiveness, resilience, diligence and perseverance
- Team and result-oriented way of working as well as initiative, motivation and commitment - also when working with different cultures and language areas
- Very good written and spoken German and English
