This role is working for a leading UK supplier with their own factory in Bangladesh. They are a very friendly open plan office and they are looking for a Senior Garment Technologist who has managed other technologists. This role is based in Hertfordshire which is only 20 minutes by overground train.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

• To take ownership and responsibility for the fit, technical aspects and quality expectations
• Lead fit sessions alongside clients to assess, establish best fit/ improve fit and advise buyers in a technical capacity
• Measure and prepare fit samples for weekly fit sessions
• Raise all grading specifications
• Instruct suppliers regarding fit, make and quality and finalising specs including grading via electronic workbooks
• Maintain consistency of fit in line with customer expectation
• To have a good understanding of patterns and garment construction
• Ensure suppliers meet quality expectations
• Kean eye for fit assessment, quality and attention to detail
• Assessment / interpretation of test reports / risk analysis, and wash care approval
• Work alongside buying to ensure styles are sealed within the agreed timescales of the critical path

Person Requirements:

• Having worked in Garment Tech previously

• Proficient computer skills including excel

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with the internal team and Suppliers
