Job Description
We have an excellent opportunity for an existing Store/Area Manager to join a fine jewellery brand seeking someone to oversee their London region. Established for over 65 years this brand is renowned for their exquisite design and use of coloured jewels and diamonds.
Main responsibilities will include:
- To promote the culture of the brand internally and externally
- Ensure that the qualitative standards required by the company are maintained
- Ensure store atmosphere reflects brand image
- Ensure that the Company guidelines are implemented
- Ensure that team behaviours are consistent with company standards of service, image and values
- Ensure that all the processes are compliant with legal, safety, HR, stock organisation policies
- Achieve the sales goals defined with the GM
- Attract, recruit, develop, retain, and engage customers
- Implement action plans to achieve targets
- Analyse the results and KPIs, providing high quality feedback and reports to the GM and HQ
- Know and monitor business environment including local competition
- Positively and proactively manage the relationship with Department Stores to reach targeted business results
- Identify, attract, recruit, develop and retain talents
- Create and maintain a positive work environment
- Motivate and coach the team, creating development plans for sales staff
- Give effective feedback and empower the staff
Person specification:
- Significant experience in luxury retail in London
- Passionate about the luxury retail sector with a keen interest n fine jewellery
- At least 5 years of successful experience in a managerial position
- Proven ability to deliver customer orientation
- High level of integrity and entrepreneurial spirit
- Enthusiastic team player, outgoing and friendly personality
- Positive attitude, enthusiastic and team oriented; well-integrated in the social environment
