Job Description
I have an exciting opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic E-commerce Executive person to join British luxury lifestyle brand. Creations include the most beautifully unique home furnishings and accessories. They are building a global lifestyle brand, and this person will be a key part of the team, to drive this move from start-up to scale-up business. Tis role offers flexible working with 3 days in their stunning shoreditch office and 2 days from home
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and launch a 'Phase 2' of our current site (launched June 2021) with our web developers, implementing alterations and improvements based on performance and feedback on site so far.
- Prepare and set up all products on the website, including optimising graphics.
- Optimise SEO keywords on product and collection pages and blogs.
- Create SKUs and set up barcodes for new products.
- Update and nurture existing products on the site.
- Monitor our on-site customer reviews and escalate with customer service when required.
- Regular on-site merchandising to align with product availability, marketing campaigns and enhance the overall user experience.
- Perform regular checks on product pages, optimising where needed.
- Instruct and act as a coordinator & QA to our web developers on continual improvements and upgrades to the site.
- Report all bugs and website issues, direct web developers, and track status through resolution.
- Measure & report on site performance and KPIs, offer proposals for commercial and service improvements.
- Identify e-commerce and omnichannel trends in order to inform site development.
- Work cross-functionally with the creative teams, marketing and also operations and customer service.
- Work with the Distribution team to manage stock control.
- Prepare products and oversee e-commerce photography: booking the shoots, preparing the samples to send out, courier management.
- Work alongside marketing to brief content for campaign photography and graphics to graphic designer to create engaging imagery for the site.
- Upload blog posts to the site and suggest SEO improvements, with copy and images from Marketing.
Person Specification
- 1-3 years of e-commerce experience; experience with Shopify is strongly preferred
- A driven self-starter & problem solver
- Great interpersonal & communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- A quick learner who takes initiative and is excited about the fast-paced e-commerce world
- Excellent computer skills - including experience with Apple computers, with ability to learn new software applications quickly
- Well versed in the ever-changing digital landscape
- Team player with initiative, ability to prioritise, multi-task without sacrificing attention to detail
- Strong organisational, project management, and follow-through skills.
