Designer -Ladieswear Woven
Our client is as fast fashion womenswear supplier to the UK and European high street retailers. They are looking to recruit an experienced trend driven commercial Womenswear Designer who has experience designing for Mango, Zara & Primark multi products across soft wovens .You will be responsible for working closely with the Design Director in all areas in addition liaising closely to Buyers, presenting developments and ranges in accordance to the customer needs.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
* Create seasonal mood & trend boards with the design team
* Design ranges on an ongoing basis identifying with key trends, colour palettes and fabric direction
* Research and source new design ideas & fabrics/trims day to day
* Design and develop commercial and fashion forward product for range and clients
* Attend fabric fairs and inspirational shopping trips
* Attend regular design meetings with Sales Manager and customer buying/design teams who you will be liaising regularly with
Personal Specfications:
* Must have experience designing for fast fashion soft woven garments.
* Wovens background is essential
* Able to work under Pressure
* Works well in a team
* Commercially savvy with excellent on trend knowledge
* Confident presenting to customers and ability to lead meetings
* Fully computer literate including Photoshop and Illustrator
