Job Description
My Client is a leading supplier to one of the largest retailers in the Uk. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a designer to join their team on woven and jersey dresses and tops.
Multiproduct design experience with an emphasis on woven womenswear and a young trend led handwriting is needed for this fabulous role
Main Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Designing into customer briefs
- Creating Tech packs as well as trend and fabric packs
- Cads drawing ( must be able to use photoshop & illustrator)
- Speaking to Buyers and dealing with inquiries alone when the Senior Designer is away
Person Requirements:
- A can-do attitude and positive approach
- Previous work experience with a supplier
- Good commercial eye
- Young trend-led handwriting
- Multiproduct experience strong on woven and some jersey design advantageous
- An interest In sustainability
- 3D design experience desirable but not essential (training given )
