Job Description
My Client is a leading supplier to one of the largest retailers in the UK. Due to continued growth they are looking for a designer to work alongside the senior designers on woven and jersey dresses and tops .
This role would suit a strong highly organised 2nd jobber looking to further their career . Multiproduct design experience with an emphasis on woven womenswear and a young trend led handwriting is needed for this fabulous role
Main Duties and responsibilities will include
- Designing in to customer briefs
- Creating Tech packs aswell as trend and fabric packs
- Cads drawing ( must be able to use photoshop & illustrator)
- Speaking to Buyers and dealing with enquiries alone when the Senior Designer is away
- Sending out garments to buyers
Person Requirements
- A can do attitude and positive approach
- Previous work experience with in a supplier
- Ideally 2 years work experience in the industry
- Good commercial eye
- Young trend led handwriting
- Multiproduct experience strong on woven and some jersey design advantageous
- An interest In sustainability
- 3D design experience desirable but not essential (training given )
