As Design Assistant you will be working closely with the Senior Designer, designing Tailoring, Outerwear, Trousers, Skirts, and shorts. If you love fashion design, researching the latest trends and want to be part of a fast-paced fashion forward design team this could be the opportunity for you.
This role is helping design for a ladieswear trend led brand.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assisting with the design admin including post/courier and filing
- Fabric Researching, developing, and
- Helping the senior designer in designing ranges for the brand
- Identify key shapes for the season, colour and fabric
- An ability to research current and future trends by a collection of different sources to identify newness
- Building on your fabric knowledge, developing the fabric catalogue, and sourcing trims
Person Specifications:
- Strong commercial handwriting
- Computer Skills: Photoshop, Adobe, CAD
- Strong time management
- Excellent organisational skills
