A fabulous opportunity has arisen for one of my clients who are leaders in their field, a British brand that celebrates individuality between fashion and jewellery. Due to continued success, they are looking for an excellent Deputy Manager to work based in their boutique/concession, who puts customer service first and will thrive in a boutique or concession style environment. My client offers excellent product training in addition to a generous bonus scheme.

Main responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the Boutique Manager and being the 'go-to' person when you are the most senior Management Team member on shift
  • driving sales and exceeding targets through exceptional customer service and building a client business
  • people management and coaching to deliver the above
  • maximising store efficiency through operations management
  • Deliver sales budget through the implementation of an action orientated business plan
  • Monitor and drive store and team KPIs
  • Deliver a consistent and exceptional standard of customer service through your sales team
  • Develop and maintain client relationships in line with Monica Vinader company guidelines to drive repeat business
  • Network to create key relationships with corporate and local clients to support HQ team with a program of revenue driving events
  • Set clear individual sales objectives and KPIs for your team, and support with ongoing coaching and training to deliver these
  • Manage the team in accordance with company policy and procedures
  • Support the recruitment process, interviewing candidates and compile feedback from trial shifts
  • Implement approved brand and product training program to ensure consistent and effective styling advice and inspiration to all customers
  • Execute visual merchandising guidelines to a high standard
  • Ensure in store experience (Boutique cleanliness) is in line with the guidelines and Brand standard
  • Maintain an accurate stock file
  • Ensure accurate payment processing and cash handling
  • Ensure the appropriate processing of in-store services (including engraving, and aftercare)
Person specification:
  • A demonstrated passion for customer service and driving a business
  • Commercially aware and target driven
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, able to adapt
  • Previous retail management experience
