Job Description

My client is a luxury womenswear brand seeking an Assistant Manager to work in their stunning Chelsea Boutique. The store is beautiful and you would be working with a brilliant team of strong sales staff. This person must be a role model and ambassador for the team. I am seeking an Assistant Manager or strong supervisor who has a passion for building relationships, delivering a high level of customer service and who can also work in a fast pace enviroment.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Plan and prepares schedules assigning staff to specific duties
  • Assist in delivering of staff training
  • Handle matters relating to staff welfare and work issues
  • Recruitment, induction and training of new staff members
  • Act as the liaison between staff and management and leading through example
  • Open and close store
  • Handle cash (till operation) and prepare bank deposits (if necessary)
  • Reconcile daily takings
  • Keep operating records and/or prepare daily record of transactions
  • Ensure reports are accurate and submitted to head office in a timely manner
  • Deliver a high standard and personalised level of customer service
  • Meet or exceed set sales targets
  • Instruct in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and housekeeping
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Accountable for in store price changes and checks
  • Monitor floor security by coaching sales staff in vigilant customer service and consistent application of Company / department store procedures regards tagging and changing rooms
  • Oversee year-end inventory
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance of staff with policies and procedures
  • Any other duties as assigned by the manager

  • A figure head and inspiration for staff and clients alike
  • Excellent at clientleing
  • Live and breathe fashion and the luxury retail sector
  • Knowledgeable of the luxury industry and able to impart knowledge to employees and customers
  • Previous luxury retail Managerial experience is essential
  • Ability to build relationships with staff and customers
  • Self-motivated team player, supportive of management and able to motivate and inspire others
  • High standards of customer service
  • Coaching and training skills
  • Positive problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to frequent change and a high-pressure selling environment
