Job Description
We are working with a fantastic multichannel brand, know for their lingerie, nightwear and swimwear who are looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to support their team.
Based in London, you will be supporting in the planning and management of your department, running key reports, analysing sales data to help build balanced ranges and oversee the critical path from order to delivery
You will be a team player, work closely with the Merchandiser and Allocator and collaborating across all of the different functions.
Main responsibilities will include:
Provide robust current and historical sales based data analysis to drive strategic decisions and support the direction of the brand
Conduct size analysis and make recommendations for new products
Support and assist with planning, WSSI, OTB, range plans and sell through to ensure company KPIs are met.
Manage and coach the Allocator to stock is delivered and managed to plan and on schedule.
Liaise with the warehouse to ensure manageable workflow in terms of delivery and picking.
Manage exit strategy, stock clearance and discontinued lines.
Create necessary trading reports to support the overview of performance weekly/ monthly/ seasonal. Ad hoc.
Support in the management of the department critical path with the cross functional counterparts to ensure timely delivery of the product.
Person specification:
Previous Experience as an Assistant Merchandiser in a fashion environment. Very experienced MAA's may be considered depending on level.
You will need experiences of working with WSSI's,Cat. Cards, OTB and range planning
Experience with stock management processes
Enjoys problem solving
Good communication & time management skills
Numerate & Analytical, proficient on Excel and strong on attention to detail
Organised with ability to multi task and work under pressure
Friendly and a team player!
