Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a multi brand watch boutique in Cheshire Oaks. This is a fantastic opportunity for a supervisor looking for their next step or an existing Assistant Manager seeking an exciting new opportunity.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Train, supervise and motivate employees to achieve the goals of the store.
  • Plan, organise and prioritise self and team to ensure optimum use of available time.
  • Produce staff rotas and manage staff holidays.
  • Monitor employee's performance.
  • Assist in the implementation of induction programs for all new employees.
  • Minimise shrinkage by careful monitoring of all monies, attentive action on shop floor, staff selection and development, accurate and timely record keeping secure merchandising and material handling and accident prevention.
  • Accurate reporting of all administration and stock control.
  • Collation of sales figures.
  • Greet and serve all customers providing a friendly service and delivering a full and memorable experience.
  • Ensure familiarity with the product range, past and present, so that customers can be provided with as much detail as necessary.
  • Ensure good knowledge of all functions of watches and other products.
  • Provide reliable information to customers in all matters relating to sales and customer service.
  • Help display merchandise as directed.
  • Contribute to the store reaching its monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to every customer, every time. Whether by email, over the phone, or in person in the Boutique.
  • Ensure the till is reconciled on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that cash handling and banking procedures are in line with Company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the store is kept clean and presentable at all times.
  • Adhere to company policies and regulations.
  • Attend regular training days.
  • Take responsibility, and be self-motivated and pro-active, to understand all new products and apply training and instructions.
  • Be able to deliver good product knowledge to our customers.

Person specification:

  • Previous retail management/supervisory experience
  • Previous experience working in the Watch& Jewellery/Luxury brand sector
  • Exceptional people skills
  • Experience in maximising profit through the effective management and display of stock, and the development and productivity of staff whilst ensuring exceptional levels of customer service are achieved.
