Job Description
This is a great new opportunity to join my client who are one of the leading suppliers in the UK to several major retailers across women swear covering most product categories, Due to strong and continued sales growth they are looking to recruit an assistant account manager to work alongside the senior account managers in the day to day running of their key accounts. The ideal candidate should have experience in either supply side/or from a buying background . They would be working with the factories, doing initial costings, negotiating first prices & deliveries, and also customer facing going out to the buyers on price, deliveries, meeting feedback etc.

Main responsibilities will include:
- To develop and maintain long term-relationships with accounts.
- Working with the factories overseas, daily communication
- Doing initial costings, negotiating first prices & deliveries
- Customer facing going out to the buyers on price, deliveries, meeting feedback etc.
- Working closely with design teams on product and development for customers
- Maintaining and following the critical path
- Managing orders in an organised and timely manner
Person Specification:
- Previous experience working with a supplier in a similar role or from at buying asst or Ab level looking for a career switch
- Excellent communication skills to communicate with factories and clients.
- Able to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
- Able to prioritise a busy workload as you will be supporting several acct managers.
- Confident, outgoing manner
- Product focussed and passionate
