Job Description

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work with a luxury womenswear brand as an Area Manager. This brand is recognised on a global scale for its good quality, designs, and strong brand ethos. The brand has a very loyal following of high net worth individuals, so a passion for delivering exceptional service levels is essential.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with HR
  • Building a strong network both internally and externally with key business partners
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate a high-performance team
  • Able to demonstrate a range of styles as necessary
  • Deliver a world class service culture through role modelling behaviour
  • Empower the team to deliver exceptional service to each client
  • Actively develop internal talent
  • Hold performance review meetings to discuss performance relative to expectations/plans
  • Ability to be both proactive and reactive as required
  • Accountable for the overall employee engagement for the country
  • Responsible for driving top line sales performance across the country
  • Strategic thinking to bring new ideas to the business
  • Maximise key business KPI's including ATV/UPT and Conversion
  • Responsible for cost control management including payroll and general expenses across the cluster
  • Accountable for nurturing the business of existing top clients through delivering a robust engagement plan.
  • Instill a culture of exceptional client service among the team by communicating and reinforcing luxury service expectations

Person specification:

  • Strong understanding of retail principles and practices
  • Previous experience as an area manager required.
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Experience within the Premium/Luxury retail sector
  • A passionate and driven person
  • Commercially minded with proven experience of having a positive effect on a business
  • You should have persistence, be thorough, systematic and precise
  • Have an innate need to get things right and exceed expectations.
  • Hold brand values and expectations at the core of what you do
  • Passionate about service and customer experience
  • Proven delivery of commercial targets and an understanding of P&L management
  • Strong people management, team leadership skills, and experience building teams
  • An outstanding communicator and team player
  • Proven track record in implementing strategies and following through with action plans
