Job description
Our client, a successful multi-channel retailer specialising in stunning luggage is looking for an experienced Store Manager for their beautiful store in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Store Manager looking for the next move,looking to join an successful, international brand.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business strategies to raise our customer pool, increase store traffic and optimise profitability
 - Meet sales goals by recruiting, selecting, training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
 - Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
 - Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
 - Be responsible for product presentation and sales in the best possible way, presenting ideas of how to incorporate new products in the current layout
 - Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc.
 - Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
 - Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
 - Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)
 - Be a shining example of good behaviour and high performance
 - Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions
 - Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
 - Ensure availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories
 - Understand competitors and keeps an eye on the latest trends and the future of retail
 
Your Skills & Experience:
- You have a proven successful experience as a Store Manager for at least two years; experience in opening stores is a plus
 - You have experience with financial planning, events and retail management
 - You have powerful leading/managing skills and are business oriented
 - You have customer management skills
 - You have strong organisational skills
 - You have good communication and interpersonal skills
 - You are an open-minded and positive person
 - You are a team player, results-oriented and like to take the initiative
 - You are fluent in English
