This is a key role requiring strong technical knowledge, market awareness, and team management capabilities.
This role offers remote/hybrid working, with minimum of 1 day a week based in the office in Greater London.
Main responsibilities will include:

Build and manage seasonal ranges ensuring balanced, commercially viable collections across multiple product categories
Work closely with factory teams to develop in-house collections, ensuring quality and timeliness of sample submissions
Oversee sourcing and development of fabrics, trims, and wash techniques, ensuring alignment with customer pricing and brand standards
Represent the factory in customer meetings and presentations, acting as a brand ambassador and strategic partner
Identify opportunities for business growth, product expansion, and competitive improvement alongside the Design Director
Support cross-functional collaboration, troubleshoot production challenges, and ensure high service levels for all accounts
Manage and mentor internal and freelance design team members, ensuring delivery against KPIs and development goals
Person specification:
Strong commercial awareness with an acute understanding of customer needs and competitive landscape
In-depth knowledge of textile design, fabric sourcing, garment construction, and embellishment techniques
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Leadership qualities with proven experience managing and developing design teams
Strong communication and presentation skills; able to confidently represent design direction internally and externally
Flexibility to travel internationally and adapt to fast-paced, evolving priorities
