Job description

We are working with a well-established fashion brand to recruit a proactive and technically capable IT Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for all IT support within their London office.

This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations for a team of approximately 90 employees. The successful candidate will also support new starter onboarding, hardware/software setup, and contribute to wider IT and business system initiatives. The position will work closely with the Special Projects team on the implementation of systems such as SAP.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the first line of support for all IT-related queries across the business

  • Provide support for desktop systems, end-user devices (laptops, mobile devices), and core office applications

  • Set up and configure new hardware/software for incoming staff and ensure systems are optimally deployed

  • Deliver user training on hardware and software as required

  • Collaborate on internal change projects and IT system implementations

  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers to maintain system performance and escalate issues when needed

  • Oversee IT asset management - procurement, inventory, and lifecycle

  • Ensure connectivity and compliance with internal networking standards

  • Coordinate the management of servers, cybersecurity, and overall IT infrastructure

  • Monitor systems and perform diagnostic tests to maintain optimal performance

Person Specification:

  • Strong experience in desktop IT support including Windows OS and Microsoft applications

  • Proven knowledge of networking protocols (wired and wireless), email systems, and general IT infrastructure

  • Understanding of antivirus, malware protection, and cybersecurity best practices

  • Experience with ERP and business tools such as SAP (essential), and familiarity with platforms like NuOrder, Centric PLM, Concrete, and AX (desirable)

  • Background in security protocols including firewall configuration and penetration testing

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical users

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines efficiently
