Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Ladieswear Garment Technologist to join the team of this leading Ladieswear multi-product supplier.
You must have at least 3 years experience working in a similar environment with UK customers and factories in the Far East, India and Bangladesh.Experience working with ladies multi-product would be an advantage
Main responsibilities Will Include:
- Grade specifications
- produce technical drawings
- Receive and check all production samples.
- Review comments from previous fits and check all amendments have been followed through
- Measure and prepare samples for fit meeting and attend fits with the customer, taking fit notes
- Regular contact with factories to ensure all samples are sent on time
- Attending customer facing fit sessions.
- Good technical knowledge of different fabrics.
- Checking samples.
Person Requirements:
- Must know how to grade samples ESSENTIAL
- Proven experience of grading garment specifications
- Previous experience of drawing garment tech packs
- Able to communicate clearly.
- Problem solving skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- At least 3 years experience working as a Garment Technologist with a supplier.
- Attending customer facing fit sessions.
- Good technical knowledge of different fabrics.
- Experience working with multi products.
- Experience working with factories in China, India and Bangladesh
- Very organised.
- Bubbly personality.
