Our client is a beautiful Luxury cosmetics brand looking to recruit a dynamic Assistant Counter Manager for their store in Berlin. This is a really great opportunity to join a renowned brand in a diverse role where you will be assisting in not only building, inspiring and developing a team to achieve all sales and operational targets, acting as a brand ambassador but working with the Counter Manager in hosting exciting events at the counter building the brands already reputable name. The right candidate will be passionate about the cosmetics industry, always deliver exceptional customer service reporting into the Counter/Business Manager.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Looking after a team of approximately 10 reporting into the Counter Manager
  • Driving sales through motivating the team to hit daily and monthly KPI targets
  • Leading the team through daily briefs, performance 121 meetings, and general line management
  • Monthly rota scheduling and payroll budgeting/forecasting
  • Working and liaising with host store partners and senior stakeholders; ensuring brand compliance with policies and procedures
  • Management of stock levels
  • People planning; ongoing talent management and succession planning of the team.
  • HR management processes
  • Drive and build your business KPI performance to achieve market-leading results and maintain #1 ranking and #1 growth
  • Ensure the best customer experience is being delivered; embedding the magic service methodology.
  • Build brand awareness
  • Assist in devising and delivering compelling event strategies for the counter
  • Adhere to health and safety guidance in the workplace
  • Execute flawless visual merchandising and grooming standards on a daily basis


Personal Specifications:

  • Experience within a Premium to Luxury setting is essential
  • A beauty/cosmetics background is advantageous
