Job Description

We have a fantastic new opportunity to work for a leading manufacturer looking for a Senior Merchandiser based in their London office.

The ideal candidate will be reporting into the Production Executive and will be the main link between key accounts and manufacturers. You will be effectively managing the supply chain - ensuring all products, production plans and sales data represented to both customer and business requirements.

The ideal candidate must be confident, uses initiative and able to work within a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading all critical path meetings by working cross functionally across departments (sales, design, development technical & quality) to ensure all delivery deadlines are maintained
  • Analysing sales data and producing reports to determine product volume adjustments and allocations
  • Managing SKU's by product, demand, style and colour
  • Monitoring and raising purchase orders for production
  • Liaising with suppliers and manufactures
  • Managing all customers label and packaging requirements and ensuring vendors fulling understand all shipping and packing instructions
  • Organising multiple key accounts daily including customer systems and exception reports
  • Achieving delivery targets to customers during peak periods and promotional launch deadlines to exceed customer and supplier expectations with the aim of improving client relationships
  • Colour management, Lab dip/bulk control and submissions to customers

Personal requirements:

  • Uses own initiative and can manage own workload
  • Can demonstrate experience of working in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Numerate with excellent IT skills
  • Knowing how to use Microsoft Suite is essential
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent analytical and Negotiating skills

  • Excellent Commercial awareness
  • Enthusiastic Team Player - ability to interact at all levels
