Job Description

This is a great chance for a driven and self-motivated Sales Assistant to work in an elegant and exclusive Baby and Childrenswear Department in a premium location in Central London.

This prestigious lifestyle brand has global presence and is well-known for its iconic pieces which have marked the history of fashion setting an unrivalled example of elegance and style.

The ideal candidate is an energetic and curious individual, who has an interest in baby and childrenswear and is able to build strong relationships with an international clientele looking for the ultimate luxury shopping experience.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Introducing customers to the brand's universe by offering a seamless journey in store
  • Showing the new arrivals and the current collections offering a thorough product demonstration
  • Delivering the highest level of product knowledge making sure to offer the right items
  • Listening to the customers requests and ensure their satisfaction by going the extra-mile
  • Maintaining the shop floor tidy and impeccable at all times making sure the VM is in line with the company standards
  • Ensuring every customer is acknowledged, receives a warm welcome and is at ease in the store
  • Working towards the achievement of the target by cross- and up-selling
  • Offering a one-to-one personalised service exploring the clients lifestyle
  • Keeping in regular contact with customers by delivering a consistent and regular after-sales service

Person requirements:

  • Experience within the luxury sector, preferably in baby and childrenswear
  • Passionate about the brand and able to represent it with pride
  • A persuasive and charming communicator able to deal with a very demanding clientele
  • Ability to network and repeat business
  • Commercial and driven to exceed sales target
  • A team-player who is able to support all departments when needed
  • Proactive and motivated to achieve sales target
  • Proven track record of sales
  • Impeccable personal grooming and excellent communication skills
