Job Description

My client is an established leading business specialising in Licensed apparel, for children's, teen and adult clothing supplying to many major retailers and supermarkets in the UK and oversees. With fabulous offices based in London.

They are looking for a Licensing Co-Ordinator to manage the day to day License Approval and support the group licensing Manager with general admin duties. This role would suit a BAA, MAA or admin based role.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Taking part in the team strategies to ensure you are up to speed with the Licenses
  • Regularly updating the teams on any changes to the approval process
  • Attending Retail meetings with the sales team to share Licensing updates
  • Ensuring all approvals are submitted to the Licensors
  • Updating and maintain approvals on the in-house Product Development system
  • Adding all booked in styles onto the Licensing department PowerPoint tracker on a weekly basis
  • Chasing any outstanding approvals if over the 10-day deadline
  • Filing approval submissions and final approvals
  • Maintaining and updating all licensing materials including the One sheets, Licensing Demographic Sheets and Movie slates
  • Creating and maintain the social media account and liaise with their retailers and Licensors to ensure that any opportunities are pursued and support product launches
  • Attending licensor meetings where required to maintain a good understanding of current approval guidelines

Person Requirements:

  • Build a good relationship with your Licensors and ensure that the company follow procedures and timelines to track the internal critical path
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to multi task and work under pressure in a timely fashion
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop relationships both internally and externally
  • Commercially focused
  • Previous experience as either a BAA, MAA or admin based role
  • Net worker with a can-do attitude who enjoys building relationships and working within a fast-paced team
