Job Description

Are you an experienced graphic designer looking to progress your career with a global premium retailer? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Graphic Team Manager to be part of a dynamic and creative team with a successful, growing company whose marketing campaigns are known for their innovation.

The successful candidate will have several years' experience in a design role and will be someone creative with exceptional project management skills.

This is a 1 year maternity cover role.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the graphics team create and adapt marketing collateral as requested by the wider marketing team in a timely manner
  • Responsible for the budget for brochures, sell-in and inserts
  • Managing and coaching a team of 3 graphic designers
  • Taking ownership of all asset management via the library for each campaign, seeking clarification from EMEA where necessary
  • Managing team workload via Trello software as the main briefing and project management tool. Ensuring all creative briefs are complete before allocating graphic design team
  • Acting as a support function for UK marketing team and wider business departments
  • Liaising with print and fulfilment houses to support all departments with a range of print needs
  • Ensuring the graphics team create beautiful and bespoke artwork for all PR & event materials
  • Managing the team to create and adapt all brand marketing

Person requirements:

  • Educated to degree level, preferably a creative bachelor of honours
  • Minimum four years' experience in a design role
  • A highly organised, self-motivated individual that can cope in a very fast-paced environment
  • Strong eye for design and creative work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
  • Enthusiasm, positive approach, energy and a passion for customer experience
