Job Description

We are working with an amazing supplier with a reputation for quality, innovation and competitiveness in the UK and European retail clothing market. They are currently looking for a Senior Compliance and Sustainability Manager to join their growing team.

Your role will be to maintain and deepen compliance & sustainability partnership with strategically important customers. You will be assisting business units to provide excellent customer service in alignment with company strategic objective.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying audit reports available from the systems
  • Explain compliance problems to factories and deliver compliance training to factories
  • Ensure information in vendor compliance system management is accurate and updated always
  • Identify audit reports available systems
  • Manage and coordinate incident reporting and crisis management internally and externally
  • Translate business trends that may impact compliance performance
  • Build relationships with multi-stakeholders initiatives assigned

  • Ensure regular reports on the status of the account and works being undertaken
  • Maintain oversight of customer's factory portfolio and pursues compliance and sustainability improvement targets towards mutual objectives
  • Problem solving that best address the customer needs, while alighting with the company policies and strategic planning

Person requirements:

  • Educated to minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Must have experience in reporting into the compliance and sustainability manager
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of SEDEX/BSCI systems is essential
  • Ability to show the team new ways of looking at a business problem and educate them about aspects of problems
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and XTS5
  • Ability to set contexts and plans meeting agendas
  • Must be highly organised
  • Collaborate with group members to complete tasks efficiently
