This amazing company who are suppliers to most of the UK High Street are growing and looking for a Compliance and Sustainability Assistant Manager to join their team.

Your role would be to maintain and deepen compliance & sustainability partnership with strategically important customers. Assisting business Units to provide excellent customer service in alignment with company strategic objective.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Identifying audit reports available from the systems
  • Explain compliance problems to factories and deliver compliance training to factories
  • Good knowledge of SEDEX/BSCI is essential in this role
  • Ensure information in vendor compliance system management is accurate and updated always
  • Manage and coordinate incident reporting and crisis management internally and externally
  • Manage risks exposed in the supply chain and escalate problems to a related senior manager
  • Ensure regular reports on the status of the account and works being undertaken
  • Maintain oversight of customers factories and pursue compliance and sustainability improvements
  • Problem solving that best address the customer needs, while alighting with the company policies and strategic planning

Person Requirements:

  • Must have experience in reporting into the compliance and sustainability manager
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of SEDEX/BSCI systems is essential
  • Show the team new ways of looking a business problem and educate them about aspects of problems
  • Set contexts and plans meeting agendas
  • Must be highly organised
  • Grasp key elements of a business plan or strategy
  • Collaborate with group members to complete tasks efficiently
  • Good computer skills including Word, Excel and XTS5
