Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for a strong operationally aware Assistant Manager to join a successful premium retailer based in their busy Westfield store in White City. This is the perfect role for an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager who will have the ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

The ideal candidate should be an existing Assistant Manager or Floor Manager with a leading brand or luxury retailer in a high turnover store.


Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Promote and ensure instore training is implemented into daily activities
    Motivate employees and develop their skills; succession planning
  • Conduct staff reviews, investigations and disciplinary hearings when necessary
  • Work with the Store Manager & HR on recruitment of all employees
  • Manage sales performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure annual targets are met by driving the business KPI and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain an excellent level of customer service at all times by monitoring your team on an ongoing basis and managing all customer complaints
  • Implement and manage effective security procedures
  • Responsible for managing the daily banking process
  • Responsible for ensuring the store is maintained to a high standard
  • Promote in store VM training, set expectations, supervise and oversee VM guidelines are met
  • Carry out regular stock takes ad minimise loss through effectively managing deliveries

Person Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years Assistant Store Manager or Floor Management experience with a leading brand or luxury retailer in a high turnover store
  • A strong background in all retail operations is essential for this role
  • Proven track record of driving sales in a commercially driven environment
  • The ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Skills; solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and motivational skills in order to establish a high-performance team
  • Organised and structured approach to work

  • Well-presented and a brand ambassador
