Job Description

My client, quintessentially British menswear brand with beautiful heritage, known from their classic designs and excellent craftsmanship is looking for an experienced Area Manager to drive sales and profit performance in the London area.
This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for an existing Area/ Regional manager, either already with menswear background or looking to progress their career in this direction.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Coach and lead store managers to ensure high standards of training, visual merchandising and point of sale
  • Achievement of sales targets for the area, contributions and cost targets
  • Accountable for driving excellent KPI results in all your stores and accounts as well as meeting your own sales related objectives
  • Regularly review and build action plans around the set KPIs
  • Drive profit through increasing revenue and top line sales
  • Ensure all visual merchandising in store is carried out in line with the brands guidelines and branding
  • Utilise reporting systems and tools to analyse business performance and take prompt corrective action as appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from all head office functions
  • Share best practices across the area with other Area Managers
  • Lead by example, provide coaching and feedback to drive high standards and performance from
  • Train and support store managers to effectively use developmental action plans to coach their store teams



Person requirements:

  • Extensive experience in retail area management with at least two different companies (minimum 3-4 years)
  • Highly commercial and business minded
  • Excellent people management and coaching skills
  • Effective communicator and influencer
  • Passionate leader
  • Thrives in challenging, high paced environments
  • Organised with immaculate attention to detail
  • Background in menswear/ tailoring will be a plus
