  • Design across a broad menswear product offering, including knitwear, jersey, shirts, outerwear, tailoring and trousers, while providing support across additional categories when required.

  • Collaborate closely with Design, Buying and Garment Technology teams throughout the product development process.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring clear communication from initial concept through to final production.

  • Produce accurate technical packs and specifications to communicate design intent to factories and suppliers.

  • Present mood boards, trend research, product concepts and design proposals to the Senior Designer throughout each season.

  • Manage priorities effectively to ensure all design work is completed in line with critical path deadlines.

  • Create, maintain and update product information within the PLM system.

  • Monitor the progress of prototypes, fabric developments, lab dips and handlooms, reviewing samples and developments with the Senior Designer.

  • Incorporate sustainable design practices where appropriate, considering responsible material selection and supplier partnerships.

Person Specicifation:

  • Previous experience within menswear design.

  • Strong knowledge of garment construction and experience designing across wovens, knitwear and jersey.

  • Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills, with working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.

  • Awareness of generative AI tools is beneficial but not essential.

  • Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.

  • Excellent planning and workload management skills, with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.

  • Strong creative flair combined with technical design expertise.

  • High level of organisation, attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Confident communication and presentation skills.
