Job description
Juicy Couture is a globally recognised lifestyle and fashion brand synonymous with bold femininity, playful luxury, and iconic design. As part of a wider group of premium global brands, we are passionate about creative excellence and commercial growth. This is your chance to lead the brand from the front, shaping its direction at a pivotal moment in its evolution.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
Lead, manage, and inspire the Senior Designer and wider Design team, ensuring creative output is consistent, high-quality, and fully aligned with the Juicy Couture brand identity and commercial objectives.
Own the external range review and approval process for Footwear and Jewellery collections, ensuring all products meet brand standards and are commercially viable across all relevant markets.
Report directly to the Chairman and Board of Directors, providing clear and strategic updates on creative direction, brand performance, and seasonal design strategy.
Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to develop and execute creative concepts and integrated marketing plans that are on-brand and directly support sales objectives.
Drive brand growth strategies and lead collaboration projects from end to end - including identifying partnership opportunities, developing initial design concepts, and overseeing marketing execution.
Oversee the full collection approvals process with brand owners, licensors, and external stakeholders, acting as the primary representative of the brand in key meetings.
Develop, update, and present brand decks in line with seasonal sales launches, ensuring all materials are compelling, accurate, and reflect the current brand direction.
Liaise across Product, Sales, and Design teams to ensure all creative output is commercially focused, delivered on time, and consistent with the wider business strategy.
Person Specification
Minimum 8 years' experience within fashion, lifestyle, or branded retail environments, ideally spanning both high street and designer-level brands, with previous exposure to roles such as Commercial Manager, Brand Manager, Buying Manager, or Head of Design.
Proven leadership capability with a track record of managing and inspiring cross-functional teams across design, product, marketing, and commercial functions - a natural figurehead who leads with presence and purpose.
Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable experience developing and executing brand strategy, balancing creative vision with profitability, and identifying opportunities to drive long-term brand growth.
Confident in managing collection approvals, range direction, and product alignment, with a thorough understanding of the full product lifecycle from concept and design through to launch and retail execution.
Experienced in building strong relationships with licensors, brand owners, distributors, and external partners, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Highly organised and analytically strong, with advanced Excel skills across forecasting, margin analysis, pricing structures, and commercial reporting, combined with meticulous attention to detail and excellent project management capabilities.
