Job Description
An exciting new position has arisen for a Junior Wholesale Merchandiser to work with a great supplier to well-known leading retailers in the UK.
They are looking for an energetic, wholesale merchandiser who has experience working with factories in Europe and the Far East and have CMT knowledge.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Being the point of contact between the customers and the factories for all issues that arise during the production cycle
- Supporting the merchandising team
- Following all requirements from the point of order to the sealing of the style so that delivery is maintained
- Setting the critical paths for all the customer orders and ensuring these are kept
- General office duties
- Inputting data & Maintaining Critical Path Software.
- Chase contracts - check price and quantity are correct
- Weekly meetings to ensure cut off dates are being hit
- Send weekly factory plans i.e Tech packs, trims and fabrics
- Liaise with overseas offices
- Gold seals and lab dips weekly updated
- Weekly logistics updates
- Build relations with customers
- Source trims and labels
- Quote prices
Person Specifications:
- Experience working for a supplier
- Excellent admin skills
- Good communicator
- Understand the Critical Path and manage it
- Very organised
