Job Description
We have a fantastic new role to join an established successful ladieswear supplier to large scale fashion retailers and supermarkets. They are seeking a Junior Merchandiser to join the team and support with the smooth running of their business. This role will involve taking ownership of the critical path and deliveries, dealing with factories overseas and working with internal teams to update on progress and oversee issues.
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys a challenge, is highly organised with good attention to detail, looking to progress their career within merchandising.
Previous experience within a merchandising team in a supplier environment required for this role. This role offers hybrid working and flexible hours.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Critical path management from sales order to delivery and take appropriate action on any issues that arise.
- Daily contact with customers and the factories based in the Far East.
- Checking / submitting lab dips and bulk fabrics / trims.
- Checking Po's and liaising with customer for any amendments that need to be made.
- Chasing fit samples and production samples to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams effectively
Person Specifications:
- Previous experience within a merchandising team from a supplier background.
- Highly organised with great attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of working with factories with the Far East.
- Enthusiastic with good written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage a critical path.
